Pecan pie is one of my favoreites! A southern pie that consists of mostly corn syrup and pecan nuts, a holiday or Sunday dinner favorite! Heres what you will need:
1 Pie Shell
3 eggs
1/2 Dark Corn Syrup
1 cup Sugar
2 cups Pecans
2 tablespoons Burbon Whiskey (optional)
1/4 cup Butter
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Mixing Bowl
Instructions:
1.) Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
2.) Place your pecans inside the pie shell
3.) Beat 3 eggs in your mixing bowl
4.) Add your butter, vanilla extract, salt, sugar, whiskey (optional) to your mixing bowl and there you have your pie filling
5.) Add your pie filling on top of your pecans inside of the pie shell, pecans will rise to the top while baking
6.) Put pie in your pre-heated 375 degree oven cook for 10 minutes, then lower tempeture to 350 degrees and cook for 25 minutes
7.) Let this cool for about 20 minutes, cut and serve!
